Anvil Alpaca are excited to introduce a brand-new experience for 2026.

Designed especially for SEND learners, home-educated students, and small learning groups, this specialist session explores the principles of caring for animals — and how those same principles apply to caring for ourselves and one another.

Sessions take place in a calm, low-pressure environment and are built to encourage:

• empathy and emotional awareness
• responsibility and gentle leadership
• confidence through real-world experience

Children learn through hands-on interaction, guided discussion, and meaningful reflection — no worksheets required (although each child will receive a small take-home mini book to continue the learning).

What participants gain from the session:

• A practical understanding of animal care and wellbeing
• Opportunities to practise kindness, patience, and self-regulation
• Increased confidence through supported independence
• Shared experiences that support communication and connection
